Funded by the Moody Foundation, UT3D is a coordinated curriculum of instruction and practice in 3D production techniques, designed to complement RTF students’ other production course-work. Students will produce a range of 3-D content — including plays, sports, documentaries and narrative pieces — and explore recent 3-D innovations, such as “glasses-free” 3-D for television, tablets, cellphones and small display devices. Students who complete the required courses and an associated internship will earn a program certificate.

Transvideo and Aaton-Digital will participate to the AFC's MicroSalon 2014.

Transvideo will exhibit some new concepts of tools for filmmakers.

Aaton-Digital will show the prototype of the new Canrtar X-3, the ultimate sound recorder for the film industry.

Organized by the AFC, the 14th Micro Salon will be held on the premises of La fémis in Paris on Friday 7 and Saturday 8 February 2014. Dedicated to cinematography and moving images creation, both days will once again be the much-awaited annual event where manufactures, suppliers and their users will meet in a convivial environment to discuss the latest innovations presented both in the booths and on the screen.

Philippe Ros was invited by Mr Kim Tae Wan, Cinematographer KBCDA, Project Manager UHD 3D.

The workshop took place at the UHD 3D Training Center in the Kocca training studio in Seoul beginning of december 2013. It was organized with the help of Ms Kim Jihyun, Colorist, Producer and the help of professor Alaric Hamacher, Stereographer.

Intensive use of the Rainbow 7 monitoring and a full set of Joker lamps has been during this event.

Zapatlela 2 3D, the first PrimeFocus native 3D feature became a blockbuster in India, 3D is an awesome experience.

Last summer TRANSVIDEO, through its holding company ITHAKI, acquired AATON .

AATON has become AATON Digital.

The famous French company remains based in the city of Grenoble in its lengendary building on la rue de la Paix.
The development team is the same as before.  Their high level of engineering ability and exceptional customer service continues without interruption.

Aaton Digital provides service for previous products, including film cameras and audio recorders.

The development team is currently focused on the design of a new generation of Cantar audio recorder. The Cantar-X3 will be released in 2014.
