Transvideo and Aaton-Digital will participate to the AFC's MicroSalon 2014.
Transvideo will exhibit some new concepts of tools for filmmakers, including the new 5" OLED touchscreen StarliteHD and the 2000Nits 6" eXtreme SuperBright CineMonitorHD6 X-SBL.
Aaton-Digital will show the prototype of the new Cantar X-3, the ultimate sound recorder for the film industry.
Organized by the AFC, the 14th Micro Salon will be held on the premises of La fémis in Paris on Friday 7 and Saturday 8 February 2014. Dedicated to cinematography and moving images creation, both days will once again be the much-awaited annual event where manufactures, suppliers and their users will meet in a convivial environment to discuss the latest innovations presented both in the booths and on the screen.

University of Texas - S3D Department - acquired CineMonitorHD 3DView S
UT3D is a coordinated curriculum of instruction and practice in 3D production techniques, designed to complement RTF students’ other production course-work. The program recruited leading 3-D filmmakers Buzz Hays and Dave Drzewiecki to teach.
UT3D acquired several Transvideo 3DViewS to teach stereography. Buzz and Dave teach NaturalDepth™, the method designed by Alain Derobe and which gave us "Pina" by Wim Wenders.
